The Michigan Advanced Biofuels Coalition (MiABC), along with industry partners with the Michigan Soybean Committee, Michigan Soybean Association, Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision (SDEV), Warner Petroleum Corporation, Michigan Clean Cities, and the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority, will host “Biodiesel on the Riverwalk” to educate stakeholders and policymakers on the immediate benefits of drop-in biomass-based diesel fuels like biodiesel.
“Biodiesel on the Riverwalk” is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, 8/29, at the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority building (130 Atwater St, Detroit, MI 48226) on the Detroit Riverwalk. The event will feature expert speakers from the Michigan Soybean Association, Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision (SDEV), Michigan Clean Cities, Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority, Warner Petroleum Group, and more. MiABC representatives will also provide a crash course on biomass-based diesel fuels during the event to showcase the many health, economic, environmental, and operational benefits of implementing low-carbon fuels like biodiesel.
