This two-part webinar series is presented by Utah Clean Cities, Long Beach Clean Cities, San Fransisco Clean City, East Bay Clean Cities, Western Washington Clean Cities and Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities coalitions.
Several Clean Cities coalitions came together to host an “Intro to Renewable Liquid Fuels” webinar series in June 2020. The first part of the webinar focused on the basics while the second part focused on different fleet experiences. Each webinar featured multiple guest speakers to discuss the topics.
Curious about renewable biofuels and how they can reduce costs and emissions? Are regional issues plaguing your diesel fleet? Is your City Council or management proposing deep carbon emission reductions with no increase in your budget? Look no further than these drop-in substitutes for petroleum diesel: renewable diesel, biodiesel, and renewable diesel/biodiesel blends.
Drop-in renewable biofuels are now cost-competitive with conventional fuels thanks to federal tax incentives, U.S. EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard, and in some states, carbon credit programs (Oregon Clean Fuels Program, California Low Carbon Fuel Standard).
Clean Cities handpicked fleets from across the country that are realizing the performance, financial, and environmental benefits of renewable diesel, biodiesel, and blends. Some of these fleets have tips and tricks for managing fuels in colder climates, others are experiencing better DPF performance, and all are reducing emissions with drop-in renewable fuels requiring no added infrastructure.
This two-part webinar series brings together experienced fleet managers and industry experts to show you how to green your fleet with renewable diesel (RD), biodiesel and blends.
Learn how renewable diesel, biodiesel and blends can:
- Reduce operation costs
- Lower emissions
- Meet your fleet sustainability goals
