Clean Fuels Presents Biodiesel Researcher of the Year Awards at Annual Workshop

The Clean Fuels technical team hosted its annual workshop last week in Kansas City, Missouri, with record attendance. Following two days of expert sessions and networking, three leaders from the clean fuels industry were presented with the Biodiesel Researcher of the Year Award for their outstanding contributions to biodiesel research and development in home heating oil and support for B100 UL listings.

Congratulations to the following:

  • Dr. Thomas Butcher – National Oilheat Research Alliance
  • Jim Jones – Carlin Combustion Technology
  • Ted Olszewski – R.W. Beckett Corporation

Pete Probst, Technical Director, and Bailey Arnold, Sustainability and Outreach Director, with the Michigan Advanced Biofuels Coalition were both in attendance to witness Dr. Butcher, Mr. Jones, and Mr. Olszewski accept their awards. Pete and Bailey also participated in the official voting process that determines industry research priorities for Clean Fuels Alliance America’s 2025 fiscal year.
